Yet shy and sweet. Not having left Pallet town ever, Emmy is what one would call a curious cat. Many times she had stayed up late wondering what the outside world was like. Her curious has fevered her dreams for a long time, often depicting beautifully rendered pictures in sketches during her off time. The young girl is also very out going when she is around people she knows and is familiar with the area. When she is faced with meeting new people, she will be more conservative and cautious. Emmy likes to learn with her hands and doing something rather than listening to a long winded explanation of something. Retaining such information is difficult if its just told to her, she has to see and do something in order to understand it. Although this is not to say she can't read a manual and understand it. Emmy can be a little self conscious about her body and what she wears. She is in that awkward teen state where she is starting to notice boys and they are starting to notice her. She has never gone out on a date, has never kissed another boy before, and doesn't understand the art of flirting although she has been told she is a natural at it. She can be easily flustered around a 'hot' guy she admires, but its more than just beauty for her. The male in question needs to be able to hold a conversation with her and be able to look her in the eyes when they speak, not down at the ground or her shoes. Esmerelda enjoys a good adventure, she knows everything there is about her hometown and has climbed every nook and cranny to she can get her hands on. She enjoys climbing on the roof of her house and watching the stars twinkle. She does not like being told to 'go to bed' and often daydreams about getting her own Pokemon one day. Her parents are never strict with her, however, she is disciplined and grounded at times for serious offenses. They hope one day she would grow up to be a mature and beautiful woman, but until then, Emmy is a go-getter living life in the fast lane. Appearance: Emmy is five foot, three inches tall and weighs ninety pounds- give or take. While short and spunky, she wears anything from denim shorts, tank tops and her trademark lucky green scarf around her neck. She likes to wear gloves which helps with her rock climbing experiences. Esmerelda has a very unique green and nature themed style of colors and dress. Often wearing greens and earth tones to compliment her life style of being free and open. She has a unique taste for makeup, enough on her to make her look like a woman, but not enough to look like a Barbie Doll. She is in no stretch of a Princess as she likes to dress sometimes in tom-boy clothing. Maybe long pants and a sweater when the weather is chilly. She has short green hair with bright green highlights. As per her name, a derivative of the color Emerald, Emmy likes all things that are green and her wardrobe certainly reflects that. Due to her young body, Emmy is known not to wear a bra, she often forgets to put one on or is in hurry when she gets dressed often over sleeping. While she sleeps, she enjoys a comfy pair of lounge pants and a t-shirt. Casual Esmerelda History: Child of Christopher Smaragdi and Doctor Dorothy Kewl. Christopher is a Photographer, often seen taking captivating pictures of scenic views around the world. He met Dorothy by chance, one day capturing her in one of his scenic pictures. He was attempting to take a picture of Gyrados when he met Dr. Kewl. She jumped into the picture and waved at the handsome man and eventually they hit it off rather well...despite the picture being a mess. The happy couple soon settled down and had a child in Pallet Town. A quiet town where a Pokemon Lab was stationed. They chose this city out of the rest, because of the Journey Starters of Kanto. It was a scenic place which Chris enjoyed and Dr. Kewl liked it because she was able to attend her nursing duties in the area to other Pokemon. Eventually Esmerelda was born and she was given loads of affection and love. They knew one day she would grow up and start her very own Pokemon Adventure. And that was a wish she had on her own too. Their cumulative genes in Emmy the young girl was a spirited child often found running around fields around town and getting into trouble doing things normal children did. Emma always had a fascination with the stars and space, she enjoyed nature and loved being outside and just roughing it out. She had a great childhood with many friends. As she got older, she was more wary about the boys she hung out with. They often got flustered around her because she was a cute girl, but was rather oblivious to this early on. She did not know the meaning behind many things like kissing or going out on a date. Instead of being around boys, she enjoyed being around Pokemon and nature. There was an entire world to explore and thats exactly what she wanted to do. Above all else, she wanted to be a Pokemon Master! Yes! Her goal was to set out on a great adventure and capture every single pokemon there ever was, learn from them, and have the best battles in all the world! They were her dreams and she kept them very close to her heart. Her parents encouraged her to go after her dreams and soon would be the day that would leave home and go on her own journey.
