ooc notes: 1/5 berry posts growing 3 oran berries.
- "C'mon Jack, we've got to get going before the weather gets any worse!" -
Mia said as she raced her Bulbasaur, Jack, from Pallet Town into Route 1. She was extremely happy; finally she had gotten her first Pokemon after spending so much time just wishing she could get one. Now she and her Bulbasaur could start off right where they needed to be- here on Route 1 just like all the other trainers. She panted, slowing her run down to a jog as she waited for Jack to catch up with her. He wasn't a runner like Mia- he was a sprinter, and it took him a fair bit of time to catch up to Mia without looking like he was far too out of shape.
- "Good job! Okay, let's see what we can find around here, okay?"
Jack nodded, taking slow breaths as he wandered around into the tall grass with Mia, not letting her too far out of his sight incase a Pokemon decided to jump out at her before jumping out at him.

"Aroof!" A young Lillipup barked as she pounced out of the grass, her tail wagging wildly as she ran over to the trainer and her Bulbasaur. "Aruff!" The little thing was a runt- extra small with light weight; she wouldn't get much more growth until she evolved. Spying Mia, the Lillipup ran over, big ol' ears flopping in the wind as she approached, digging her tiny paws in when she was close enough to drag herself into a stop, panting and looking up at the human and her Grass-type starter.
Battleless interaction roll- will Mia give the Pokemon a berry to try and capture it, or will she dismiss it?
Mia gasped, looking down at the runty looking Lillipup. Oh it was so adorable!
- "Jack, look at it!"-
Clearly, the Grass-type wasn't happy when his Trainer cooed and aww'ed at the runt Lillipup. He approached the canine-like Pokemon and gave it a small shove with his head, but didn't get much further as Mia scooped him up and pulled him away from the Lillipup, who now sat on its tail, looking up at the two with it's tongue hanging out of its mouth. Jack was not pleased.
- "I'm going to try and capture it, Jack, okay? Look at how small it is! It wouldn't make it out here without us." -
So, Mia kinda had a hero complex, but she also couldn't really let this tiny Lillipup to be out her all on it's own. Putting Jack down with a silent motion not to attack the little puppy Pokemon, she dug through her bag and grabbed an Oran Berry and reached her hand out to the Lillipup to take the berry, and hopefully be happy and stated enough to be on her Pokemon Team.

Curiously, the canine watched the two operate before she even attempt to get close, watching as the Bulbasaur was snatched up and the human spoke. Lillipup could understand a little of what was being said, but for the most part all she wanted was something to eat and somewhere to call home. As the trainer offered her a berry, she sniffed the air around the Trainer, before approaching slowing and quickly nipping the berry out of the human's hand to eat it. "Aroof!" She barked, her snubby tail wagging happily behind her.
- Attempt to catch the Lilliupup? -

3/5 berry posts ooc: mia threw a pokeball at the lillipup!
-1 pokeball.
- "C'mon sweetheart, it's okay! I won't hurt you." -
Mia cooed to the Lillipup as it edged itself closer to her. Jack stood by and watched warily, ready to pounce into an attack should the runty Lillipup do more than just take one of the berries his trainer was trying to grow. As the Lillipup took the berry and stepped back, Mia had already reached behind her and had unclipped an empty Pokeball in order to catch the wild Lillipup with.
- "I'm going to catch you, okay?" -
Mia wasn't sure why she was talking to the Pokemon like this, but it seemed to keep everyone calm, and so as she made the Pokeball bigger she tossed it gently at her, and watched as the runty Lillipup was engulfed in red light before being sucked into the Pokeball with a silent pop.

Mia cheered as she caught the Pokemon. Jack sighed, yet smiled kindly up at his Trainer when she came over to him and wrapped her arms around him. Mia's hugs were the best, according to Jack, who has only had one hug so far. She cheered, and quickly noted the capture in her travel log, before letting the runt Lillipup out of her Pokeball.
- "Aroof! Aroo-" -
Mid-bark, and the Lillipup realized that she had been captured. Fantastic!
- "Your name is Daisy now, okay?" -
Mia said, and the Lillipup jumped up into Mia's waiting arms, licking her face as Jack watched on from below, keeping an eye out around the area for any other potential Pokemon to battle with.

A Wild Pidgey!
Male - Level 5 - Keen Eye - Tackle & Sand Attack
The Pidgey had been watching the entire encounter from up above. It had been friends with that Lillipup for a few weeks now, and while he was happy the Lillipup had found itself in the arms of a caring trainer, he couldn't help but feel really upset that he had yet to learn the ways of a 'sophisticated' and 'trained' Flying type like himself. His brothers were all caught only a week ago, and he was sure they were being trained by great new trainers. Jealousy was rising quickly. He flew down to Mia and Daisy, and gave a loud squawk, ruffling his feathers and hoping he could earn the attention of the human by battling the Pokemon he once called friend.
Mia was very much a cheerleader trainer. She knew and frankly believed that all Pokemon could reach their full potential once they had a caring and respectful trainer. Daisy gave an excited 'yip!' and hurried to follow Mia, who was walking rather quickly up the route. She didn't get very far, though. The Pidgey swooped down and landed in front of her, startling her and making her gasp.
- "Daisy! Leer at it!" -
The Lillipup knew exactly who this Pidgey was. She gave a friendly bark, but did as she was commanded, and leered at the Pidgey, digging her long black nails into the route's soft dirt.
