Personality: Jackson is naturally a people pleaser, and he takes pride in knowing he made a difference in someone's life because of it. He enjoys making people smile and he likes to have a good laugh now and then. He doesn't mind being in groups and he doesn't mind being on his own, too. Growing up in a large family Jackson never really had to fight for attention and that would probably be the biggest factor in his personality right there. Sometimes though, Jackson flys off the handle. He loses control of his anger or other extreme emotions and can lash out at anything- other people, Pokemon, authoritative figures- it doesn't matter. He will lash out and continue to do so until he's able to calm down and go back to apologize or fix what was broken. Appearance: Jackson unfortunately didn't get hit with the puberty train and instead was smacked with the puberty stick. Right across the face, probably multiple times. He's not your a typical average looking dude- his nose is a little too big for his face and his eyes are just a smidge closer than they should be, and his lips are too wide. But he's still young, and he still has some time to earn some cash to go and get plastic surgery! Jack's features are quite unique though. His too-close eyes are pearl coloured. Yes you heard me- pearl colored. When the light hits them, they look glossy with a sheen. His eyelids are hooded ever so slightly and when he smiles it looks like his eyes are closed. His too-big nose is slim and his nosetrils are curved just enough to give him a 'button nose', while his bridge slopes. His wide lips are pink and the corners are curved up just enough to keep him from looking like he has a bad case of 'bitch face'. There's some blessings I suppose. Jackson's skin is generally pale, with acne scars dotting along his chin and small 'attractive' moles along his spine and back of his neck. He's a little bit hairy, especially along his chest and stomach (thank the puberty Gods), and he's quite muscular for someone who hasn't really done anything with his life up until this point. History: Jackson wasn't born into a great family. He had two older brothers before him, and two younger sisters after him, he was truly the 'middle child'. Often forgotten about after meal times, for bath time, to be tucked in or to have his boo-boo looked after, Jack learned how to take care of himself at a young age, and began highly resilient to being spoiled or generally given things he wants. With this sort of background, Jackson quickly learned that he would have to make friends or he would have to deal with his lonely dispoition for the rest of his life. When he wasn't going out of his way to make friends with people or to make people happy, he was constantly learning about Pokemon. Obsessing over educational television shows when he could take some television times, he borrowed books from the library, he read about it on the local computers, he did everything he could to learn and be educated about them. Jackson was eight when he lied on his trainer application and tried to take the test - when his teacher caught him, he was backlisted. It was a devastation like he had never felt before. Jackson was blacklisted for an additional four years once he turned ten. He would be 15 when he could take the test again. He did everything he could to lessen the sentence but it was too late. The damage had been done. Nothing he could do or offer would get the school to change their mind. Jackson was terrified that he would never become a trainer. He watched his older brothers leave on their respective dates. Then he watched his younger sisters. He was left at home - out of a family of seven, Jack was the last child at home. Those long years finally passed- he watched his siblings on the TV battle the Elite Four and lose, he watched them try again. When his eldest brother returned home seething that he would never touch Pokemon again, Jackson knew that he had to make a name for himself. He had to break the stigma of the Alvarez name. Finally, Jackson was able to go on his journey. He took an additonal two years off to look after his ailing mother, but finally it was time. Now at seventeen, he's taken his time to get to Pallet, and head off and break the stigma attached to the Alvarez name. No matter what it took.
