.Colt Jason Sweeney. Name: Colt Sweeney. Nickname(s): Colt...? Age: 20 Gender: Male. Trainer Class: Trainer, future Team Rocket member. Home Region: Johto Hometown: Goldenrod City. Favourite Starter: Charmander. Favourite Pokemon Type: All. Personality: Growing up, Colt was always very quiet and sullen. He doesn't really remember anything before his parents divorced. He was always very good at sneaking around and generally acting like he wasn't there. But due to that sort of growing up, Colt is unforgivingly selfish. He will not share his glory with you, he will not share his umbrella with you, if you have an issue don't even think about coming to Cold about it, because he just doesn't give a fuck. He's only out for one person and that's himself. He doesn't really like getting to know people either; he's had a rough time growing up and it's very much effected how he is as a person. Sometimes, he gets into good moods, even great moods, and nothing can tear him down- but those times are one in a million, and he doesn't often experience them publically. Colt is trying his best to be more of a 'people person', but he's just not having it. Hopefully travelling around Kanto will force him into becoming a better person. Appearance: Colt is your typical looking dude. Brown hair - red based, so it looks warmer and redder in the sun rather than being ash or black based - that's kept cut close to his head. Sometimes he lets it grow a few inches but he doesn't like it falling into his eyes. Sometimes he'll get a design shaved into the side, but that's only been something he's looked foreward to as a child. Colt has slightly slanted, deep brown eyes, that look like they're surrounded by brown eyeliner, but really its just his skin. Colt also has really long eyelashes? It's kind of weird. He has a straight nose with a small bump just half an inch above the tip of his nose- it's where his nose was broken when he go into a fist fight, and you can see him rubbing it absentmindedly when he isnt thinking about it. He had his left nostril pierced but the piercing was bodily rejected and Colt has never put another stud in it since, later claiming that it was a mark from the ghost that haunted him. Colt has full slightly pink lip, and a wide chin to go wih his set jaw. Overall, Colt's pretty attractive. Not to mention the poor kid sprouted to 6'3" easy as he was growing. Puberty wasn't too hard on him. Growing up, Colt aqcuired new piercings and ink, mainly in his ears (lobe x2) and his left middle finger is tattooed, and his right ring finger is tattooed as well. He doesn't like to show them off much, but he won't not say anything about them if someone points them out. History: Once upon a time, in Goldenrod City, two young trainers found out they were going to be expectant parents. Dazed and confused, they spent the next seven months working on saving enough money to rent a cheap flat in their city and earn more money to keep it. Then Cold was born; a screaming, crying mess of a baby that kept mommy and daddy up all hours of the night. Mommy was only sixteen. Daddy was seventeen with a chip on his shoulder. Teens should never be parents. The small family grew up in a cramped one bedroom apartment in Goldenrod City, Johto and every day, the two young parents watched kids younger than them battle Pokemon, fight Whitney, and celebrate with their pals. Colt turned two, and the two young parents couldn't wait to get back on the road, thinking they could handle travelling with a toddler like him. Colt's immediate childhood was ... lackluster. He doesn't remember anything of importance happening until he was nine. His parents - once young teenagers - were now married adults. Well, barely married adults. They had gotten married when their baby was five, and made him the ring-bearer. Shortly after getting married, they moved to Ecruteak in hopes of being able to 'start over'. He grew up listening to them fight. He grew up listening to his father yell and holler, while his mother sobbed on the couch and screamed about how he took her future away. It was all very dramatic and obscenely traumatizing for Colt. He was never given the chance to talk about his day, or ask to go over to a friend's house, or even go out for Halloween or sleepovers. It didn't bother him too much. He made up for it by being a popular little kid in school. Colt was ten when he took the Johto mandatory trainers test and flunked it. The next year, his parents divorced shortly after his eleventh birthday and his second - failed - attempt at the Trainers test. His father packed his things, tousled Colt's hair one last time, and walked out. His mother was devastated. Colt was eleven years old, and refused to go on his journey, feeling like he had to be the man of the house. He wanted to take care of his mother. Unfortunately, his mother couldn't see past the face of her child's father on Colt's face, and threw him out, screaming at him until she broke down in the doorway, sobbing loudly. Scared out of his mind, he did the only thing he could- he ran. Colt ran and ran until the streets of Ecruteak were behind him and he was being guided towards Olivine's lighthouse. The sun was beginning to rise by the time Colt found sanctuary in Olivine City. He was moved from home to home for the rest of the year, spending time with this family until they couldn't handle him anymore, and then moving on to this family. Eventually, Colt grew tired of being passed around, and once again ran away. He took to the streets. Twelve and afraid, he never stayed in one spot long and eventually turned into an elusive street rat. Since he had no Pokemon training what so ever, any wild urban Pokemon he ran across, Colt balked from. It was a long two years on the streets being kicked at and sneered at, and eventually 14 year old Colt gave the charade up. He wanted to go home. Surely his mother had missed him by now, right? Colt took the long roads back to Ecruteak. It took him two days and five hours, but he made it. Unfortunately he was a year too late- he learned over the course of asking his neighbours about his mother that she had taken her own life after being unable to keep her husband and throwing her child out. The house Colt remembered so fondly was haunted by memories, and in a fit of desperation to make his mother's memory proud, Colt fled his city once more to unroll immediately into Trainer School. Unable to get the image of his mother out of his head, any memory he had of her when she wasn't screaming at him or his father, he used to fuel himself into getting better marks, great marks, and eventually, Colt was the top of his grade. He stayed in school until he was seventeen. At eighteen he took the Trainers test for a third and final time- and he passed. Elated, Colt knew he could start right here, right now in Johto. But he didn't want to. He had learned all he could about the legend Ash Ketchum, and decided he would start from the real beginning, too. He would start from Kanto. So, just a week past his nineteenth birthday, Lachlan snuck onto a boat headed for Pallet Town, Kanto, and that's the story of how Colt got into Kanto and begun his journey up the ranks and into World History.
