Hometown: Viridian City-Lavender Town Favourite Starter: Bulbasaur Favourite Pokemon Type: Grass types. Personality: Generally Mia is an selfish extrovert. This means she must be the center of attention at all times, and she'll do just about anything to do that. Mia tells anyone she meets that "she has no filter", but will apologize if she believes she's offended someone or hurt someone's feelings. She's a daredevil and won't back down from a dare or a fight, but prefers not to get phsyical if she can help it. Mia loves being around people and is often happy in large groups of trainers but get's anxious when there's 'too many' people. She was always the rambunctious one in school and was often getting into trouble due to her loud mouth. Since growing up and going out, Mia's chilled out a little more. She's not as fiesty but she will not back down should she feel challenged, and she's learned that not everyone can handle a girl like her. Mia is still materialistic and a daredevil, but she doesn't want to show just that side of her to new people. She's learning to focus better on her Pokemon and learn to train them without giving up and 'throwing in the towel'. A lot of this change has come from her younger sister, who's essentially the complete opposite of Mia, and Mia didn't want her younger sister picking up on her actions and bad behaviours. Since reaching the age of sixteen and unable to do much more at home or at school, Mia's since developed a less selfish attitude and one that's more determined- she will travel through Johto and defeat the Gym leaders, and become the Region Champion before she's twenty. Appearance: Mia got a lot of her looks from her mother, who had been a co-ordinator for most of her Pokemon career. Her father was an average looking man, and the blonde is secretly relieved she has her mother's looks. Mia has long blonde hair that when loose falls around her shoulders. It's been dyed/bleached often enough that when she allows it to grow out, her "natural" hair color is a lot lighter than it used to be. Mia originally had naturally dark brown hair, but as stated previously she's bleached it so much that it grows in naturally a few shades lighter now. Thankfully the only nice thing she likes about herself would be her blue eyes, a gift from her paternal grandmother, who has nearly an identical pair. She has pale freckled skin, which seems to become more and more freckled as she grows up, mainly around her face (her freckles more or less frame her face and dot across her cheeks and nose). Mia tries to wear minimal make up while on the road - which is usually left to just being eyeliner and mascara - but she'll go out of her way to dig out her travel makeup case and get dolled up for a Gym Battle, and sometimes goes the full nine yards to include a spritz of perfume on her wrists and behind her ears. In nice/warm weather Mia often wears jean shorts and a crop top, or she wears a skirt with a flowy short sleeved top, with sandals or flipflops. When the weather gets cooler, Mia wears jogging pants and a long sleeved shirt with runners or boots, depending on the weather. Mia also is also pro-piercings, which means she has a collection of facial/body piercings - 2x lobes both ears, 1 conch piercing in her left ear, double industrial in her right, her right nostril is pierced as is her tongue. History: Mia was born in Kanto, in Viridian City, before her parents moved to Lavender Town. Growing up there, Mia traveled back and forth between Lavender Town and Viridian City because her father worked in Pewter, in Mt Moon for the Pokemon re-location services. Her father dealt with runaway Pokemon or Pokemon that shouldn't be in the mountain. She was always enchanted with Grass type Pokemon and often spent her young childhood chasing after wild Pokemon to try and bring them home to domesticate them. Her family soon had to relocate permanently to Lavender Town when her father lost his job, and her mother took a part time job looking after the Pokemon Mr Fiji's granddaughter adopted. Mia learned early on that she had to be compassionate and 'do whats right', but when she turned eight that all changed. Her mother was pregnant. Their second child was technically an 'accident'. They hadn't planned the new little bundle of joy, but they weren't going to give their child up for anything. Soon, Mia's little sister was born, and this is where it all goes a little nuts. Suddenly feeling very insecure and scared about her place in the family, Mia's once soft and polite side grew bratty. She threw tantrums whenever she wanted something, and often played off against her parents, once day only wanting her father, the next only wanting her mother. It created serious tension between her parents and almost sent them into a divorce. This went on for almost two years before her father sat her down and gave her a stern talking to. It didn't change Mia completely, but it quelled the young rebellious attitude for now. Mia learned to deal and love her younger sister, and to this day Mia hasn't gone a single day without talking to her little sister. Fast foreward a few years. Mia - sitting pretty at 13 - had yet to go on her travels. Her parents had moved from Lavendar Town in Kanto to Goldenrod City in Johto in order for Mia and her sister to go to a better school. She was lucky enough to be enrolled into a private high school (thanks to her father's new job and promotion), and while most of the classes were small thanks to a majority of the students being on their travels, Mia had little trouble excelling in her classes. She soon reached junior year and decided that enough was enough. She was tired of being one of the few people in her classes, and she was ready to face the world head-on. Mia dropped out of school at the age of sixteen, returned home, and told her parents she was finally going on her journey. Of course, her mother was very upset because she wasn't ready to let Mia go, but her father supported her, and helped her get ready for it. Mia's little sister - who wanted nothing to do with Pokemon - refused to let Mia go, but knew she couldn't stop her. Now at fifteen-going on-sixteen, Mia's father has dropped her off at Pallet Town, and she's finally on her way to becoming a Pokemon Trainer, with the hopes of beating the Elite Four and becoming Kanto's new Champion.
